Clover Psychiatry gives you flexibility, privacy, and peace of mind.
Book NowIn our initial appointment, we’ll discuss your current concerns, and build a holistic profile of your life history and overall health. We will set specific goals together, and craft a treatment plan to meet those goals.
Your treatment plan may include lifestyle optimization (movement, nutrition, exposure management, and more), medication, and/or psychotherapy with a therapist of your choice. Once the plan is in motion, we will meet periodically to assess your progress and make adjustments as needed.
Therapy is a powerful tool for self-discovery, breaking unwanted patterns, and improving relationships. Our therapy sessions can range from conventional to eclectic, tailored to your needs.
Clover is a general psychiatry practice catered to women ages 16-65.
We view psychiatric symptoms through the lens of your physiology, and tailor your treatment plan to work with your body, not against it.
Common issues we treat include:
Psychiatric diagnoses: anxiety, depression, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), bipolar disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD), and more
Psychiatric symptoms: worry, panic attacks, low mood, irritability, self-doubt, disordered eating, attention difficulties, dissociation, poor sleep/insomnia, nightmares, fatigue, persistent negative thoughts, and more
Life circumstances: pregnancy, birth, postpartum, breastfeeding, preconception, fertility concerns, loss and grief, relationship problems, career stress, and more
"It’s crucial that your doctor understands your unique constitution, so that you can build a tailor-made treatment plan — together."

Our office is located just outside Dayton in Kettering, OH, within The Well.
The Well is a multidisciplinary care hub that is set apart from traditional ‘clinics’ by its whole-person focus and cozy, welcoming atmosphere.
We also offer telehealth throughout the state of Ohio.
Psychiatry is a branch of medicine devoted to mental, emotional, and behavioral health.
At Clover Psychiatry, psychotherapeutic techniques are combined with medical assessment of your unique physiology. Our integrative approach is designed to optimize the function of your mind and body to help you reach your highest potential.
Psychotherapy is a treatment modality that works with the content of your mind. In psychotherapy, we will explore your emotions, thoughts, beliefs, and memories.
There are many different kinds of psychotherapy. At Clover Psychiatry, we emphasize psychodynamic psychotherapy, which enhances your recognition of life patterns which are sustained through subconscious thoughts and behaviors. This awareness empowers you to make peace and make change.
You may also benefit from other kinds of therapy we offer, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), supportive therapy, motivational interviewing, psychoeducation, or the integration of archetypal frameworks or somatic concepts into your treatment. A tailored approach allows us to transition between, or blend together, therapy modalities in a way that best suits your needs.
Follow up frequency typically ranges from 1 week, up to 3 months.
If you are experiencing an acute issue or need high-precision adjustments to your treatment, it’s important to be able to see your doctor quickly!
Conversely, if your regimen and symptoms have stabilized, enjoy the convenience of extended time between visits.
If psychotherapy is part of our treatment plan, we will likely meet every 1-2 weeks.
At booking, you can choose either an in-person or telehealth appointment. For telehealth appointments, you will receive a link to a secure video call for your appointment time.
Controlled substances may be prescribed if:
1. Upon comprehensive evaluation, we both agree that a controlled substance is the ideal treatment for your condition.
2. You have been evaluated in-person.
Federal regulations require in-person examination to prescribe controlled substances. Some pandemic-related exceptions have been made to the law, however they are temporary and subject to change - this could put patients who receive controlled substances prescribed via telehealth at risk.
If we determine that a controlled substance would be the most appropriate treatment for you, but you are unable to have an in-person assessment at Clover due to extenuating circumstances, we may coordinate with your primary care doctor for assistance.
At Clover, we maintain a balanced philosophy about controlled substances:
They can be useful - this is why we are able to prescribe them.
They can be dangerous - this is why they are controlled.
Clover Psychiatry is an Out Of Network (OON) practice, meaning we do not contract directly with insurance companies. Being OON allows us to preserve the doctor-patient relationship, and ensure that your treatment plan is driven by what will be most effective for you (as it should be!).
However, you may still use insurance benefits to help cover your visits by requesting a Superbill from our office, and submitting it to your insurance company to request reimbursement.
After you schedule your initial appointment, as required by law, a “Good Faith Estimate” will be provided.
Yes! Although we emphasize our special interest in the unique needs of women, we also have extensive experience treating men's mental health concerns. Men are welcome to be seen at Clover.
